Take Me to Church by Hannah Brencher // Here is a woman whose honest words make me crave more of Jesus.

Cold Tangerines by Shauna Niequist // I downloaded the audiobook version of this to listen to on a long work trip this month. Shauna's voice has been so timely in my life this year, as she writes on transition, prayer, learning to trust the Lord, and the practices of gratitude and celebration. So far, I've read Cold Tangerines and Bittersweet, and Bread and Wine is next on my list.

Firework People. // Tuesday night Twitter parties that are straight up life-giving. #fireworkpeople

Humans of New York // Brandon has been in Pakistan and Iraq in August, inviting us to experience the lives of people half way around the world. Long story short: people are miraculous no matter where you go.

Simply Tuesday by Emily P. Freeman // Seriously squealing with excitement for Emily and her beautiful new book on small moment living. Her voice is a breath of fresh air.

A Prayer Journal by Flannery O'Connor // Because this woman is my hero, and these prayers are a glaring reflection of my own.

This little boy finding out he's going to be a big brother // For so many reasons, not the least of which is his adorable accent.

New lock screen by She Reads Truth // My two and a half year old cell phone gave up the ghost this month, and thankfully I was able to get a new one that same day. One of the first apps I downloaded was SRT, and upon doing so, I browsed through their lock screens to find one that was just right. This is one of my absolute favorite verses, as it serves as a constant reminder to trust in the goodness and faithfulness of God.
